Never miss a sunset at sea.
Published sunset times are often wrong because they assume you're standing still. I have a hard time with that. NextSunset corrects for a ship's heading and speed. This app attempts to predict the moment the sun touches the horizon. Keep your phone on ship's time, take a peek during the day so you can make plans, and set a reminder so you don't miss the best part of life at sea! Also works on land.

How it works
- The right sunset. Not the instant the sun's top edge vanishes for a person on the beach, but the moment its lower limb meets the water, which is the sunset you actually watch.
- Corrected for motion. A ship sailing west at 20 knots chases the sun and delays it by minutes; sailing east steals them back. NextSunset projects your track and does that math. If GPS can't give a course below deck, it falls back to the sunset where you are.
- Plain about the moment. The time in big numbers, a plain-words countdown, and a reminder 10–60 minutes before (or none).
